This Georgian house in Belgrave Sq., Monkstown, Co. Dublin was in a state of disrepair and in need of careful renovation. We employed some traditional restoration methods to bring the existing house to life once again. A more contemporary approach was taken to implement Clancy Moore Architects’ beautiful design. Achieving a seamless transition between the old and the new, was a testament to the communication between client, architect and Fordlin Construction. The result is a beautiful family home, with secluded retreats for everyone in the house.
The high standard of design and implementation on this project has been acknowledged by the RIAI with a commendation for 2017. This fantastic project was also recognised by the AAI with an award for 2017. http://architecturalassociation.ie/aai-awards-2017/
